Sunbelt Staffing is actively partnering with a school district in the southwest suburban Chicago area to identify an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist for an onsite, full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for an SLP seeking a stable caseload, collaborative team environment, and meaningful impact across multiple age groups.
Position Overview

Schedule: 35 hours per week

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Assignment Dates: ASAP through June 30, 2026
Setting: Onsite only
Number of Sites: 2 school locations
Caseload Details

Site 1: Kindergarten – 6th Grade
-
Site 2: 7th Grade – Transition Age (up to 22 years old)

Total Caseload: Approximately 40 students
-
Balanced, manageable caseload with a mix of direct and indirect services
Primary Responsibilities
-
Provide direct speech and language therapy services
-
Conduct assessments and evaluations
-
Develop, implement, and update IEPs
-
Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
-
Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families
-
Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
Required Credentials
-
Active Illinois SLP License
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
-
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
-
CFs and SLPAs will not be considered for this role
