A professional opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support to K-12 students during a maternity leave assignment. This contract position offers a meaningful role within a school setting in Chico, CA, with a commitment of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Part-time arrangements will be considered.
Qualifications:
- Current California SLP License is required
- Experience working within school environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children

Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning and review
