School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Orlando, Florida
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting middle school students in the Orlando area. A need has arisen for a dedicated SLP-CCC to become an integral part of a vibrant school community for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is on-site, serving a single campus with a manageable caseload, and requires full-time commitment.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a school-based setting working with grades 6 through 8
- Able to manage a caseload of 60–65 students
- Must complete district-specific background checks, fingerprinting, and all credentialing steps promptly
Position Highlights:
- Work with middle school students, helping them achieve communication, expressive, and receptive language goals
- Collaborate with a school-based team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services, progress monitoring, and participate in eligibility meetings and parent conferences
- Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, families, and administration to best support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all students on your caseload
