This full-time position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting middle and high school students in a K-12 school environment located in Apopka, FL. The opportunity is a contract role beginning as soon as possible and lasting through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for students
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Delivering direct therapy services to students in middle and high school
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students, particularly middle and high school
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Florida or eligibility to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students and educational teams
