Speech and Language Pathologist - Middleburg, FL
This full-time contract position is for Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) serving a K-12 school district in the Jacksonville, FL area. The role involves providing comprehensive speech therapy services primarily for mild to moderate needs across multiple school locations, with an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions for students with mild/moderate communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all relevant state and district guidelines.
- Manage caseload itinerantly across assigned schools to ensure service delivery consistency.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathology licensure.
- Experience delivering speech-language services in a school-based setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educators.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students and coordinate services across multiple sites.
Location: Middleburg, FL (onsite role, not open for virtual coverage)
Contract Length: Current School Year through 5/28/2026
Hours: 35 hours per week
