Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- New Jersey state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) welcome
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school settings
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and other school professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver targeted therapy services in group and individual settings
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team collaborations
- Provide resources and strategies to teachers and caregivers to support generalization in the classroom
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional development in the field
