School Speech and Language Pathologist | New Britain, Connecticut
This opportunity is for a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students across two school sites, with locations to be determined in New Britain, CT. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through June 9, 2026, offering 35 hours per week from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services in a school-based setting for a diverse range of disability categories within inclusive classrooms. The role requires flexibility to work on-site across two elementary schools. Candidates will deliver direct support adhering to best practices within the educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CF)
- Current, active Connecticut SLP license
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology essential
- Valid district fingerprints and background clearance required
- No SLP Assistant candidates will be considered
- Familiarity with working in inclusion classrooms serving multiple disability categories
