School Speech Language Pathologist - Minneapolis, Minnesota
This opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) interested in maternity leave coverage positions within a well-established elementary school district in the Minneapolis area. These contract roles provide a chance to deliver critical speech and language support to young students while working either fully onsite or partially virtual.
Locations:
- Brooklyn Center Elementary School (0.6 FTE, 12/15–3/23, up to 0.2 virtual)
- Coon Rapids Elementary School (0.7 FTE, 1/5–end of May, up to 0.6 virtual)
- Blaine Elementary School (1.0 FTE, 1/28–3/16, up to 0.2 virtual)
Role Overview:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and collaborate with school staff and families
- Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
- Deliver virtual services where applicable, respecting the MN 1.0 FTE law for clinicians
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC credentials
- Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certification
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Ability to provide therapy in both in-person and virtual formats
- Candidate must not be an SLP Assistant (SLPA)
- For virtual providers, must currently be authorized to work in Minnesota and adhere to the 40-hour workweek limitation
