Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Middleburg, FL
Located in Middleburg, FL, this contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting. The role requires a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade with mild to moderate speech and language needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Work itinerantly, supporting multiple school sites within the region
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain required documentation and comply with district policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health (FL DOH) licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 school populations, particularly in mild to moderate caseloads
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload, traveling between various school locations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage students, families, and school staff
- Commitment to student-centered therapy and demonstrated knowledge of age-appropriate interventions
Location: Middleburg, Florida (Itinerant responsibilities within the Jacksonville area)
This position is a contract role with a school calendar year duration, beginning ASAP through May 28, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek. On-site presence is required, serving multiple schools.
