School Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Matteson, IL

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials is sought for a School Based assignment serving K-8 students for the 2025-2026 School Year. This role will be based in an elementary setting in the Matteson, IL area, running from August 18, 2025, through June 2, 2026. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity provides 35 hours per week supporting an approximate caseload of 30 students.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-8 students with social/emotional disabilities preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services as indicated on students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), typically providing 120 minutes per month or 30 minutes per week per student
- Collaborate with special education teams to support students' academic and social communication goals
- Monitor and document student progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of communication goals and strategies
- Maintain compliance with all licensure and professional standards
- Hourly Pay: $55-$63

Schedule:
August 18, 2025 – June 2, 2026 | 35 hours per week | In-person only
