Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Lynn, Massachusetts
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students in a K-12 school setting, serving children from 3rd to 6th grade. This contract role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about pediatric speech therapy and have experience working in educational environments as well as familiarity with teletherapy options.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech-language services to students, focusing on a range of communication disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to assess and support student progress
- Utilizing teletherapy techniques when appropriate to extend services and maintain continuity
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation as per school and regulatory guidelines
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement effective intervention plans
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric settings supporting children ages 8-12
- Background working within schools and understanding of K-12 educational systems
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred
- Proven ability to conduct teletherapy sessions effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with children and collaborate with staff
Location: Lynn, Massachusetts (within school setting)
This part-time contract requires availability for two days per week from ASAP through June 12th, aligned with the current school year schedule. Candidates who meet the qualifications will be interviewed next week.
