Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Lowell, Massachusetts
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services within an elementary school setting in Lowell, MA. This contract position offers an engaging environment working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on delivering high-quality speech therapy that supports student communication development.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for a diverse student population
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state guidelines
- Participating in meetings related to student services and individualized education plans
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid SLP licensure in Massachusetts
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in pediatrics and school settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a school team
Position details:
- Contract duration: February 9th through the end of the school year
- Work schedule: 30 hours per week, 4 days per week
- Setting: Elementary school environment serving K-12 students
