This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services in a K-12 school setting in Lowell, MA. The role is a contract position spanning the entire school year (NSY), ideal for individuals with a passion for supporting student communication and language development. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators and families to deliver comprehensive speech therapy to students across diverse grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students to address communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute therapeutic expertise
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and school policies related to speech-language services

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Knowledge of state-specific special education service delivery frameworks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored for working with children and educational teams
  • Ability to manage caseload effectively and adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts

This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys by enhancing their communication abilities throughout the school year.
