Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Arvada, CO
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential therapeutic services in a K-12 educational setting located in Arvada, Colorado. The position is offered on a contract basis for the current school year, supporting students with diverse communication needs across multiple grade levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language assessments and interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Maintaining detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
- Participating in team meetings to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Two roles are available:
- SLP for Elementary School: Approximately 15 hours per week, spread across 2 days
- SLP for Pre-Kindergarten: Approximately 11.25 hours per week, over 1.5 days
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure in speech-language pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
