A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school serving grades K-4 in Kokomo, IN. This contract position runs through the current school year, with a schedule of five 7-hour days per week. The caseload includes approximately 50 students, providing a dynamic environment for delivering speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students (K-4) across one school building.
- Develop, implement, and modify Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports for all students on caseload.
- Utilize effective communication and intervention strategies tailored to diverse student needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field.
- Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Prior school-based experience is a must.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
