Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-8 school setting focused on PreK through 8th grade students. This onsite contract role offers an opportunity to manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, delivering assessments, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing progress monitoring. The position is ideal for licensed speech-language pathologists, including clinical fellows who are working toward certification.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse speech and language disorders
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CF)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required for clinical fellows
- Experience providing speech therapy services in a K-12 educational setting highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite in a collaborative school environment
Location: New Orleans, LA (onsite position)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a contract through 5/21/2026
