About the Position
A school district in Johnston, RI is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students through a hybrid delivery model. This role blends in-person therapy with remote services and offers scheduling flexibility. The district has several openings and will design the caseload around the strengths and availability of the chosen clinician.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys both hands-on school-based collaboration and the structure of virtual sessions.
Primary Responsibilities

Provide speech and language interventions across both onsite and virtual formats

Complete assessments and contribute to eligibility and IEP processes

Deliver direct therapy and consultative services as assigned

Coordinate with teachers, related service staff, and families to support student progress

Maintain accurate documentation, progress summaries, and required compliance paperwork
Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Rhode Island SLP license in good standing

ASHA certification preferred; CF applicants may be considered depending on assignment

Ability to work effectively across onsite and virtual platforms

Strong organizational and communication skills
