Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Orange Park, FL
Join a dynamic educational team in Orange Park, FL, as a Speech Language Pathologist serving Pre K-12 students in a K-12 school setting. Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 60 students ranging from Pre K through 12th grade
- Delivering therapeutic services aligned with established goals and best practices for mild to moderate speech and language impairments
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Managing itinerant assignments by traveling between school sites as needed, within the designated area
Qualifications and experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology licensure is required
- Proven experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with mild to moderate communication disorders
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively and maintain clear documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working within a school environment
This full-time role offers approximately 35 hours per week on-site, with a contract specifically approved for therapy services within the school district. The position is focused on delivering quality speech-language support to students within a collaborative educational setting.
