School Speech Language Pathologist - Middleburg, Florida
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech therapy services within a K-12 school setting in Middleburg, FL. The position involves supporting students with mild to moderate speech and language needs across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity. Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students from Pre-K through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Ensure compliance with state licensure and school district requirements
- Manage caseload efficiently while working itinerantly across multiple schools
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathology (SLP) licensure is required
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in mild to moderate speech and language cases
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies across diverse student populations and settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate services within various schools
Location:
- Middleburg, FL, providing on-site therapy services only; this position is not open to virtual or teletherapy options
This contract position follows a school year schedule, with an expected start date as soon as possible and continuing through late May of 2026. You will be working approximately 35 hours per week within a dedicated, supportive educational environment.
