This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience working in K-12 school settings. The position is based in Garland, TX, and is a contract role for the current school year (CSY).

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Proven experience providing speech therapy services within school environments
  • Familiarity with K-12 educational settings and developmental communication disorders
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to school-age children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on communication goals
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal regulations
