Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
Federal and State Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
-
Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology License required

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Previous school-based experience preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
