Speech Pathology - Houston, TX
Position Overview:
Seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to K-12 students in Houston, TX. This 1099 independent contracting role offers a contract duration for the current school year. The SLP will hold a supervision role, actively participating in ARD meetings, completing REEDs, and performing some testing. Candidates should have strong virtual experience and possess a valid Texas SLP license.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Experience in virtual speech therapy delivery preferred
- Knowledge of K-12 educational settings and ARD processes
- Ability to complete REEDs and conduct testing efficiently
- Skills consistent with requirements for SLP and SLP-CCC roles
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech-language pathology services to students
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Complete Review of Existing Evaluations and Documentation (REEDs) as needed
- Conduct speech and language testing to support student evaluations
- Supervise other SLP staff or assistants as assigned
