A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Gilroy, CA. This contract assignment runs through the current school year, ending June 4, 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, organize, and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students with diverse speech and language needs.
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and maintain detailed clinical documentation of assessments, observations, and progress.
- Collaborate with instructional staff and communicate therapy updates and recommendations to parents and caregivers.
- Manage a caseload of elementary school students and adjust interventions as needed to optimize outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Licensure.
- ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Year).
- California Educator Credential related to speech-language pathology.
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably with elementary students.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
Location & Schedule:
- Onsite position based in Gilroy, California.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Contract duration through the school year ending June 4, 2026.
