Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within a school setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to federal, state, and school policies
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
