You’ll work closely with students, teachers, and school teams to deliver effective speech and language interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students during ESY
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement goals based on students’ IEPs and individual needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Consult and collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse learning styles of students
