This position offers an opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide critical support on a leave replacement basis within a K-12 school setting. Serving students across the full K-12 range, the role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy services that support communication development and academic success. The contract is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, designed to accommodate a school leave from mid-February through mid-May.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language evaluations, treatment, and progress monitoring for students within the K-12 spectrum.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state regulations and school policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert knowledge to support student goals.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state license issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with educators and families.
- Ability to manage a caseload of students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade.
