Speech Language Pathologist in Greensboro, NC
A North Carolina-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized speech therapy services within a K-12 school setting. This contract position, based in Greensboro, NC, supports students with diverse speech and language needs, focusing on articulation, language, voice, and fluency. The role is full-time during the school year, offering approximately 25-30 hours per week from Monday through Friday, with a caseload of 40-45 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's communicative needs.
- Conduct screenings, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing evaluations to inform therapy goals.
- Coordinate with educators, families, and related professionals to ensure cohesive support.
- Maintain accurate Medicaid billing profiles and therapy documentation within designated systems (ECATS and Infinite Campus).
- Supervise speech-language assistants and clinical fellows as applicable.
- Organize therapy sessions and manage resources efficiently to maximize student progress.
- Uphold ethical standards and stay current with professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- NC Department of Public Instruction G License required.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Experience with ECATS software required.
- Strong understanding of speech-language therapy within educational systems.
- Ability to work onsite exclusively.
This contract begins immediately and continues through January 31, 2026. The position involves working within the framework of exceptional children’s services, reporting to school principals and related program administrators.
