Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school setting, especially with early elementary students, is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and administrators
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in 1st and 2nd grade students
- Maintain thorough documentation and prepare progress reports as required by the school
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to optimize learning environments and support IEP goals
- Communicate regularly with caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Participate in team meetings, consulting on best practices and intervention plans when appropriate
