Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to support speech and language development in children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and incorporation of therapy goals within the classroom environment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, compliance with state and federal regulations, and timely reporting.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute expertise and advocate for students’ educational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and licensure (SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY preferred).
- Experience working in school-based settings with children across K-12 grade levels.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders, assessment tools, and treatment methodologies applicable to school populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage caseloads independently while maintaining high standards of care.
