A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Arlington, TX, covering two maternity leaves on a contract basis for the current school year. The role will support students across multiple campuses and grade levels within a dynamic school district.
Responsibilities include providing speech-language services to students ranging from PreK through 5th grade, across several elementary schools. The first maternity leave coverage begins immediately and extends through January, serving approximately 53 students at one campus. The second leave covers from January through early April, supporting two campuses with around 48 students total, including K-5th grade and incorporating two half days at an additional site. This role requires a thorough understanding of school-based interventions and collaboration with educators to enhance student communication skills.
Ideal candidates should possess:
- An active state license to practice as an SLP
- SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) must have supervision arranged prior to starting
- Experience working with children in elementary school settings
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads across multiple sites onsite
This opportunity is onsite only, requiring travel between campuses. Candidates are advised to consider the geography of school locations within the district.
