This opportunity is for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position within a K-12 educational setting in Seattle, WA. The role is contract-based for the current school year, providing essential support to students through assessment and intervention services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Eligibility and certification as an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) in the state of Washington.
- Knowledge and experience working within a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
