School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Evanston, Illinois
An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time support in a middle school setting. This position is a contract leave role starting as soon as possible and continuing through January 2026, with potential for extension based on performance and fit.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 45 students ranging from 3rd through 8th grade, delivering speech and language services to support student communication development. The role involves working at a single school site with set hours from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, offering a structured schedule for efficient service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or credentials (SLP, CFY, or CCC preferred)
- Experience providing SLP services in a school environment
- Ability to manage a mid-sized caseload effectively and independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills tailored to school-age children
- Flexibility and a collaborative approach to working within school teams
