Middle School Speech Language Pathologist in Estero, FL

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teaching certification and/or active Florida DOH SLP license
- Previous experience with middle school students preferred
- Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain or transfer a current JLA Badge within the state
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress and integrate strategies within the classroom setting
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, goals, and progress, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary collaboration, and professional development opportunities
