Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time School-Based Role | Emporia, KS
Blazer Jobs is actively hiring an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Emporia, Kansas, for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for a dedicated clinician focused on helping students build communication skills in a structured, supportive educational environment.
About the Role
The SLP will provide comprehensive speech and language services to K–12 students in a school-based setting. This includes assessments, individualized therapy, IEP development, and collaboration with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students

Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers

Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports

Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development
Qualifications

Active Kansas Speech-Language Pathology license
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly valued

Strong communication, organizational, and report-writing skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
