Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work onsite across multiple school sites, providing direct speech and language therapy services to students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. This role requires strong clinical skills, collaboration with educators and families, and a commitment to fostering student growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to TK-8 students based on assessed needs and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and reports.

Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for speech and language goals.

Manage caseload efficiently across multiple school sites, ensuring consistent and quality service delivery.

Stay current with best practices and continuing education requirements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligibility to obtain).

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably TK-8 grade.

Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and therapy techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites efficiently.

Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Work Schedule:

35 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within El Monte, CA
