Speech Language Pathologist in Arvada, CO
A K-8 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a public school setting in Arvada, CO, for the December 2025 through May 2026 school year. This contract role requires a dedicated SLP holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and valid state licensure for school-based services, with no acceptance of Clinical Fellows (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students within caseload sizes of 35-40, serving mild/moderate to moderate/severe needs.
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, referrals, and evaluations.
- Collaborate in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in 504 meetings.
- Offer consultations to teachers, parents, and other school personnel regarding student needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience in K-8 school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Must provide current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure.
Contract Details:
