Requirements:

Must meet all Connecticut state and local licensing and certification requirements for Speech Language Pathology

Prior school-based experience preferred
-
Experience working with special education students and families is highly valued
Typical Job Duties:

Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs

Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward communication goals

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate strategies into the classroom and home

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
