A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available onsite at a school located in Cullman, AL. This contract role begins on April 23rd and continues through the end of the school year, providing an excellent opportunity for an SLP credentialed with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support student communication needs in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students to determine communication disorders and needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives related to speech and language services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license and certification (SLP - CCC required)
- Experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Ability to work effectively as part of an educational team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
