School-Based SLP | Providence, Rhode Island
This opportunity is for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Providence, RI. The role offers flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules and is ideal for professionals seeking a hybrid model combining in-person work with adaptable caseload arrangements. The contract runs through June 16, 2026, with a start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in grades K-12.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state requirements.
- Provide in-person therapy sessions as preferred by the district.
Qualifications:
- Possession of relevant state licensure for speech-language pathology.
- Certification in the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working as an SLP in school settings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to accommodate part-time or full-time hours based on district needs.
- Ability to engage effectively with K-12 students across diverse populations.
