A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within an early childhood educational setting, serving children aged 3 to 5 years. This role focuses on providing speech and language therapy services to young learners, supporting their communication development during a critical early stage. The position is based in Corvallis, OR, with service areas including Salem and South Marion County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for children aged 3-5 years.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize therapy outcomes.
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in relevant meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with early childhood populations, particularly ages 3-5.
  • Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a school setting and communicate effectively with children, families, and staff.
  • Commitment to supporting children’s communication and developmental goals.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, 190-day contract
  • 40 hours per week
  • Employment term: August 22, 2025 – June 12, 2026
  • Early childhood school environment
  • Locations include Corvallis, Salem, and South Marion County
