A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Chicago, IL, serving students from pre-school through first grade. Qualifications:
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience preferred
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary age groups is highly valued
Job Details:
- Contract duration: March 30th, 2026 to June 3rd, 2026
- Full-time schedule, 5 days per week
- Serving pre-school through first grade students in a school environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing inclusive learning strategies
