Position Summary
In this role, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across various grade levels. You’ll develop and implement individualized therapy plans, support IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, and monitor progress to ensure students receive effective and equitable services. Bilingual SLPs will also have opportunities to support English Learners and communicate with families in both languages.
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active Illinois SLP license and PEL endorsement (required)

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates may be considered depending on district preference

Bilingual English–Spanish strongly preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills

Passion for working with school-aged children in diverse educational settings
