Speech Therapist in Easton, MD
This position is an exciting opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting. Serving students from diverse backgrounds, you will play a vital role in enhancing communication skills and advancing academic success throughout the school year contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student goals and intervention strategies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential
- Possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings with children throughout the K-12 spectrum
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of current speech therapy techniques and educational regulations
