A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Middle River, MD. This in-person contract position is designed for a skilled professional dedicated to supporting the communication development of elementary-aged students. The role requires 35 hours per week, primarily focused on service delivery, testing, and active participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct assessments and testing to identify communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address student-specific goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience working with elementary school-age children in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and families
  • Ability to work full-time, 35 hours per week, in an in-person setting
