Speech and Language Pathologist in Camden, NJ
A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in an educational setting in Camden, NJ. This position offers a full contract for the current school year (CSY), providing an excellent platform to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of diverse learners.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP certification, including eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Experience or coursework related to pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably with school-age populations
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders, assessment procedures, and intervention techniques within educational environments
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs across K-12 grades
- Experience in healthcare settings is advantageous but not required

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and inclusive learning
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district policies and educational regulations
- Participate in meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning and reviews
