Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and provide virtual therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for online learners

Deliver direct and consultative teletherapy services using approved virtual platforms

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

Maintain accurate digital documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Federal and State Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License required

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Previous virtual or school-based experience preferred

Excellent communication, technological proficiency, and organizational skills
