Speech Language Pathologist in Beverly, MA
A part-time Physical Therapist (PT) opportunity is available for the remainder of the school year, providing maternity leave coverage at a K–12 school located in Beverly, MA. This contract position supports students with diverse needs, including non-verbal students and those with severe autism.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) License is required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Comfort with pediatric populations, particularly K–12 students
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services tailored to students’ individual educational plans (IEPs)
- Support students with severe autism and communication challenges through specialized interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with educators, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
Job Details:
- Location: Beverly, MA
- Term: February start through End of School Year (EOSY)
- Schedule: Part-time, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM; days per week vary
- Caseload: To be determined based on student needs
