A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in King George, VA. This role serves approximately 50 students on the caseload and requires full-time availability of 40 hours per week for the current school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across all grade levels (K-12).
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to support students' communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to promote student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including assessment reports and therapy logs.
- Support students both individually and in small groups, adapting strategies as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license appropriate for school-based practice.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students.
