An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-8 school setting in Aurora, CO. This contracted position runs from December 1, 2025, through May 29, 2026, offering a caseload of 35-40 students, ranging from mild/moderate to moderate/severe needs. The SLP will primarily provide direct speech and language services while collaborating through assessments, consultations, IEP or 504 meetings, and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students across K-8 grade levels.
  • Conduct student assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language needs.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 planning meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation for all speech-language services provided.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a current Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Only experienced SLPs accepted; Candidates in Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) roles are not eligible.
  • Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students is preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseloads of 35-40 students with diverse communication needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
  • Must be eligible for Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification and provide documentation upon application.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: 37.5 to 40 hours per week
  • Position Type: Contract, Current School Year (CSY), December 2025 to May 2026

This role includes a prescreen phone call followed by an interview as part of the client’s selection process.
