Speech Pathology - Aurora, CO
A K-8 school located in Aurora, CO, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position from December 1, 2025, through May 29, 2026. This role is primarily onsite, but the position is open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) and Clinical Fellows in their first year (CFY). The caseload will range from 35 to 40 students, including 20-25 with mild to moderate needs and 10-15 with moderate to severe needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students across K-8 grade levels.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and referrals.
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current certification from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) is required.
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a valid license.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of diverse student needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Schedule and Workload:
- Full-time hours (37.5 to 40 per week), with the option for part-time schedules.
- Contract duration: December 1, 2025 – May 29, 2026.
- Position is onsite.
